Dear Team,
A few months ago, we faced many uncertainties as a lot of skeptics doubted cryptocurrency exchanges’ ability to comply with local regulatory requirements. But, as the legal framework for the crypto-sphere starts to take shape, all our efforts working together to achieve regulatory compliance proved wrong to all those who questioned our future in the cryptocurrency industry.
Today, as we marked one of the most important milestones in Bitkub’s history, I want to take a moment to recognize the tremendous amount of work everyone had put in to get our SEC license approved. I feel extremely proud of what we have achieved being the first cryptocurrency exchange in Thailand, what more, in the world, to obtain digital asset trading license from Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). I want to call out the great work of our employees Kwan, Ball, Took, Phorn, Si, K, Kim, Kong, New, Sumon, Jhan, Mee, Kook, Toey, Huad, and their incredible teams who had been pulling out all the stops and ironing out all the details to make sure everything at Bitkub (such as website, documents, operations, policies, etc.) is in accordance with the rules provided by the SEC. You guys made this happen. All your work has put us on a new level, and you should all be proud.
The blockchain and crypto industry is at a crossroads of which our company can play a fundamental role in shaping the future of the digital economy, and we are in the driver seat. I cannot stop thinking about the possibilities of how far we can go. Thank you, not just for making our culture and values come to life, but also for joining me on the mission of bringing the benefits of digital currencies to reach a wider community.
Most customers will never know how many weekends you have sacrificed, or how many times you need to work overtime to turn our vision into reality. But as blockchain and cryptocurrencies serve thousands of unbanked individuals, and a whole layer of banking bureaucracy is removed lowering transaction costs, they will appreciate the depth of care and the genuine concern behind our efforts. Knowing that you have made such a difference in their lives is even more rewarding.
Moreover, the approval of our license will open new opportunities for our company and the impact will continue to be felt far into our future. This will allow Bitkub to expand the list of trading instruments and platforms which will affect the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem. However, obtaining SEC license is not the end game, but rather a stepping stone in the process towards our ultimate objectives. We are just getting started and the journey ahead for Bitkub to grow into a market-leading position in Thailand is going to be even more engaging. Since the founding of Bitkub last February of this year, we have achieved so much, and we are winning over more users and investors even faster than we had hoped.
Now, with our Thailand government-approved license, along with the members of the executive teams, and our amazing pool of talents, Bikub will continue to lay a strong foundation and push the boundaries for cryptocurrency business in Thailand and beyond to do great things and improve lives and the world at large.
